On Sunday 12th June 2016, The Mall will be transformed into the largest ever street party to celebrate The Queen's patronage of over 600 charities and organisations on the occassion of Her Majesty's 90th birthday.
The Patron's Lunch will be the climax to a weekend of official events celebrating The Queen's 90th birthday, including a Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral on Friday 10th June and Trooping the Colour on Saturday 11th June. Members of the Royal Family will be joined by some 10,000 guests made up of representatives of Patron's Organisations and members of the public. The Royal Commonwealth Society will have a presence at the Patron's Lunch and we will be running a random ballot to determine the Society's representation at this historic event. The ballot is open to all RCS Supporters, Branch Members and Associate Fellows. If you are interested in being entered into the ballot please email firstname.lastname@example.org by Monday 18th April with the following information.
1. Full name (as shown on identity documents)
2. Date of birth
3. Full residential address, including postcode (if outside the UK)
4. Preferred email address
5. Any dietary requirements
6. Any accessibility requirements
Applicants must be aged 18 years or older to enter the ballot, and will be responsible for making their own travel arrangements to and from the event. Successful applicants must bring two separate forms of identification; one of which must be photographic (either a passport or photo driving licence) and one of which must confirm current home address (to which your entry card will be issued). All attendees will be subject to security screening.
