The CEC Autumn Conference 2017

The CEC Autumn Conference 2017 considers two key questions:
  1. How might we better understand the needs and expectations of students?
  2. How are institutions responding and which ones are doing this well?
International and domestic students pay considerable sums of money to attend universities and are thus looking for high quality support. This year's CEC Autumn Conference will focus on students and the roles of the institutions they attend, considering the support for learning and teaching, research, living experiences and adequate preparation for future employment.

The conference's starting point is the students, by listening to them and understanding their ever-evolving expectations and past experiences the role of provided support can be better tailored. Best practice examples from universities will also be explored, as will the role of research in highlighting where potential gaps may exist.
