Adding Global Value: Women's Views on CHOGM

'Adding Global Value: Women's Views on CHOGM' convened by the Royal Commonwealth Society and the Royal Over-Seas League will take place on Thursday 1st October at the Royal Over-Seas League from 18:00 - 21:00.

This year's Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) includes the first Women's Forum. Our discussion will enable panellists to discuss the main issues and their expectations of the Women's Forum in November.

Speakers and panellists include: 

  • The Rt Hon the Lord Howell of Guilford, President of the Royal Commonwealth Society
  • Catherine Mayer, author, journalist and Founder of the Women's Equality Party
  • Mrs Kim Simplis Barrow, First Lady of Belize and Belize Special Envoy for Women and Children
  • Deborah Leary OBE, Chair of the Commonwealth Businesswomen's Network
  • Tina Taylor, former CIO of General Electric and Founder of the Heritage Leadership Academy, South Africa
  • Jude Kelly CBE, Artistic Director of the Southbank Centre and Founder and Director of Women of the World Festival (WOW)
The panel will be followed by a Q&A session. The evening will end with a networking drinks and canape reception.
