The RCS has a rich history of nurturing the creative talents of young people around the Commonwealth through a range of competitions. In 2010, these competitions were run as one exciting awards scheme for the very first time.
With writing, film and photography categories, our Young Commonwealth Competitions are open to anybody under the age of 30 living in the Commonwealth. They encourage creative responses to global challenges and offer a unique international platform for new young talent.
The 2012 Young Commonwealth Competitions are open for entries. In 2012, the essay, photo and film competitions take the Commonwealth theme, 'Connecting Cultures'. The closing date for all competitions is 1st May 2012. Download the leaflet here:
