The Commonwealth Photographic Awards are organised with the kind support of the Commonwealth Secretariat.
2010 Winners
Judging for the Photographic Awards took place in July 2010.
This year's judges were:
Michael Hallett - professional image maker and internationally published photographic historian
Helen Perry - Cyprus-based journalist, and a former Deputy Editor of the Middle East Times, the Cyprus Review and a presenter for the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation
Johan Thom - South African visual artist and Commonwealth Scholar undertaking a PhD in Fine Art at the Slade School of Fine Art in London
Robert Wooding - web content manager and producer at the Commonwealth Secretariat, managing the Secretariat's library of images, which are used across Commonwealth publications
The judges enjoyed looking at all the photos and spent a long time coming to a decision about who the final winners would be. The judges awarded one Gold, one Silver, and two Bronze Awards in each entry category. Click on the links to see this year's winners!

Exhibition and shortlisted photographs
Additionally, 12 more entries were chosen by our judges to be included in the Photographic Awards exhibition, with the photos printed and framed for viewing in the Commonwealth Club in London and displayed on our website.
