Building on the success of projects in Malaysia, Ghana, the United Kingdom and Cyprus, Nkabom 2010 will take place in Rwanda between 5 and 15 September.
The busy 10-day programme will bring together around 35 young people from all over the Commonwealth.
The programme will include:
- Peacebuilding and leadership skills training;
- Workshops and learning journeys to help participants develop an understanding of the host country, the region and beyond;
- Interactive activities with a range of innovative local and international organisations who use sport, drama, art and the media to help bridge divides;
- Meetings with prestigious leaders and local young people;
- Peer-led and social sessions to encourage participants to share experiences.
