
Commonwealth Organisations
Ordinary people are just as important as governments in the Commonwealth family. Through many professional and non-governmental organisations, they work to improve the lives of their fellow citizens. There are nearly 80 such Commonwealth organisations. Increasingly, all are recognised as partners in the delivery of assistance and as leading proponents of best practice and change.

Commonwealth Magistrates' and Judges' Association (CMJA)

CMJA is a unique international association which brings together judicial officers from over 68 jurisdictions in the Commonwealth and beyond. It aims to promote the independence of the judiciary; to advance education in the law; and to disseminate information on all matters of interest concerning the legal process within the countries of the Commonwealth.
Commonwealth Press Union (CPU)
The CPU has around 750 members in 49 countries, including large newspaper groups, individual newspapers and news agencies throughout the Commonwealth. Through the press, it aims to promote understanding and goodwill among members of the Commonwealth; and to advance the freedom, interests and welfare of the Commonwealth press and those working within it.

A parliament-based non-governmental organisation, the purpose of the CEC is to create an informed public opinion on salient issues concerning education and training in the Commonwealth.
YoComm: Commonwealth Youth Network
YoComm: Commonwealth Youth Network
Yocomm.com is a pan-Commonwealth youth network which was set up by Commonwealth youth to facilitate sharing of information relevant to young people. The network is driven by youth from across the Commonwealth who provide content of local relevance, and share information pertinent to their own needs, whilst at the same time facilitating an inter-Commonwealth exchange of ideas to help them realise their full potential.
