Welcome
members Q&A
Two successful meetings were held with members to brief them on current circumstances and to hear their concerns. I am most grateful to those who took the trouble to attend. For a summary of the main points that emerged from both the meetings, please click

Options for Members post June 2013
Those members with an unexpired portion of their membership year of one month or more are invited to take up our offer of a cost free transfer to one of two clubs, namely the
Royal Overseas League
and
Connections at Trafalgar Square
(please click the links to access the individual offer documents).
Mindful of our duty of care to RCS members, we have tried to cater for all in negotiating offers with two differently styled clubs. Should you decide not to take up the offer we will arrange a refund. A few members have already thoughtfully offered to donate the balance of their fees, which is very welcome. Please use the
Membership Options form
to indicate your choice whereupon the necessary steps will be taken.
For those members paid up to 30 June when the Club's closes, we have agreement from both clubs to waive the one-off joining fee. We have also negotiated offers of a waived joining fee and a free two month trial period in July and August with the following:
Additionally,
House of St. Barnabas
which opens in September offers a 20% discount for RCS members and the
National Liberal Club
offers a waived joining fee.
Over the summer we will be contacting members with information about the new style RCS membership offering we plan to launch in September. It will be very different as we will no longer have a club but will focus on our charitable work, increasing intellectual output, our publications and broadening our range of events and will naturally be priced at a much lower rate.
